If you are an avid reader like I am, I would assume that you share the same predicament as I do. We are constantly confounded by the question of, “What Should I Read Next?”. Often the answer to that question is to do a quick browse on Amazon and then making hasty purchases which ends up in our libraries untouched.
What I enjoyed most about reading is how on a sunny day in the comfort of my living room, I am transported to the battle ground, pounded by an incessant rain and soaked in the blood of knights, giving their lives for their cause. Often, when I finished reading, I would be craving for more but at the same time, I also like to venture to the world of similar but different authors.
I presume you share the same sentiment as I do.
Until now, that has been a rather arduous task. For I have discovered this website What Should I Read Next .
All you need to do is to enter a book that you like and the site will analyse its database of real readers’ favourite and provide you a book recommendation.
You may wonder if I did give it a go. And yes I did.
It worked wonderfully well. I have been reading Dragonlance by Weis and Hickman since I was a teenager, so I have read most of their work. With the help of this site, I am able to quickly search for other authors who are writing in the same genre and what more is recommended by other readers and not an algorithm.
Have a go at the site and let me know what you think.
Happy Friday and cheers,
Ivan
